Standing majestically over the city, Mt Hood is the most prominent peak in the Oregon cascades. A popular destination for hiking, camping, and climbing, the glaciers atop Mt. Hood provide the only year-round lift-served skiing in North America, from the beautiful Timberline Lodge. Oregon Tour Co. offers a full day trip to the mountain, which includes the beautiful Hood River Valley, as well as the breathtaking waterfalls of the Columbia River Gorge.

Take the time to visit the pristine forest, snow-capped mountains, majestic waterfalls and fertile valleys that are included in our full day tour. Stop on the way, sample fresh fruit and have lunch with a view of two towering peaks. Return home down the Columbia River Gorge, and witness spectacular scenic vistas, including Multnomah falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in the country. Finish your day with an unsurpassed view of the Gorge, from the Vista House at Crown Point. All guests will be picked up and dropped off at their chosen point.

Did you know that Mt. Hood, the tallest mountain in Oregon, is actually an active volcano?! Erupting 3 times in the last 200 years, Hood is located on the East end of the Pacific Ring of Fire, the arrangement of active volcanoes that circle the Pacific Ocean. It is also the only mountain in the US that has year round skiing and snowboarding.
